The 2nd Annual Western New York Pole Battle welcomes Polers from the local community to compete in this friendly competition which is open to all levels. 

​

Competitors will compete with others of the same skill level.  The levels will consist of Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

​

Rules:

​

Competitors will have 60 seconds to freestyle and flow to music of the emcees choosing.  Once a song is played, it will not be repeated.

​

Competitors will need to register for their appropriate level and pay the participation fee of $25 by May 20th, 2024.  A skills reel or video showcasing skill level will be required at registration.  An email with the payment link

will be sent confirming their registration. 

Cancellations after June 21st, will receive no refund.

​

Competitors registering for levels below their current capacity will be given the opportunity to be placed into the level that would be in accordance with their current skill level (space permitting). 

​

There will be a panel of 5 judges. To keep things fair, the highest and lowest scores will be thrown out.

​

Judging criteria will include technique, musicality, audience engagement, transitions, and all-around safety. 

​

*Beginner: No inversions

*Intermediate: 3 points of contact

*Advanced: 2 points of contact, and release skills

​

If a competitor is performing moves that would be considered above the level they are participating in, they will be disqualified.

​

There will be 3 winners for each level placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Each will receive a CASH PRIZE during the closing ceremony.

​

We will be raffling off a white XPert Pro, 45mm powder coated portable Pole, a private lesson with Sheila Frank, a ROC Pole & Fitness 6-Week Sampler membership, and a Pole bag with items valued at a minimum of $250.
